3 weeks to go before Thunderbird's Express your Art Photo Contest 2011

Three weeks left before the December 9 deadline of Thunderbird Resorts' annual photo contest. This year's theme is Fiestas (shots of Filipino festivals taken between March 1, 2011 and December 9, 2011.

Too bad Sinulog, Dinagyang, Ati-Atihan (all January) and Panagbenga (February) do not fall within the contest period, but Pahiyas, Moriones, Penafrancia, Lanzones, Masskara, Kadayawan, and others are in. At stake is the P250,000 top prize--more than enough for a full frame and a trinity. Damn.

According to the Thunderbird Philippines blog, we're on the second round of the competition: photos taken from July 9, 2011 to December 9, 2011 are the only ones eligible, and deadline's on December 9 (but of course, with mailing considerations and all, you have to mail entries by December 7 to be sure).
